La Orquesta del Viento
Chilean jazz project led by musician and guitarist Raimundo Santander, who together with a diverse group of instrumentalists creates a sonic universe where elements of jazz converge with Latin American and Indigenous folklore. In this way, the sounds of the Mapuche people from southern Chile and Argentina blend with those of the Andean highlands, where Chile, Peru, and Bolivia meet. A magical stage presentation is completed with live illustration and real-time projection by artist Sol Díaz, with whom they have performed across parts of Latin America, the United States, and Russia.
In 2025, the ensemble released Brujos, their new album—an work that delves deeper into the ritual aesthetics and ancestral imagery that define the project, consolidating their sound and expanding their presence in the contemporary jazz scene.
