La Pambelé
Originating from Bogotá, La Pambelé’s main mission is to bring salsa brava back to the streets, the neighborhoods, and the sonic reality that colors the daily lives of those who still live and dance it.
Formed by nine musicians who radiate energy, the orchestra led by Camilo Toro Morato fills the stage and their songs with the power of the conga, timbales, bongos, piano, baby bass, flute, trumpet, trombone, and the captivating voices of Miguel RoRebolledo and Lorena Contento, making everyone surrender to rhythm and joy.
Their songs combine a nostalgic classic sound with a fresh contemporary touch —or, as one of the country’s most influential media outlets described it, “a new take on old-school salsa.”
