ASLI SUNA
Asli Suna is a passionate community arts leader and cultural producer committed to connecting Toronto’s diverse cultural communities through the arts. As the founder and organizer of Concerts on Connolly, Asli and her husband, Selcuk Suna, produce free, family-friendly events that celebrate multiculturalism by showcasing local and international artists. Their work brings together musicians, community organizations, local businesses, and residents to create an inclusive space in Wadsworth Park, in Toronto’s west end. In addition to her arts leadership, Asli is a high school English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with over 20 years of experience helping newcomer students develop language skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging in Canada. She is dedicated to building meaningful connections and creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn from and celebrate one another.
