Emily Jean Flack has always embraced a unique blend of pop and Canadian Celtic music, creating a sound that transcends genres. Raised in a musical family with her mother, Denise Flack, the lead singer of Leahy, Emily's love for music began early. She started with step dancing, a key element of Canadian and Irish folk traditions, then moved to piano, before discovering her true passion—singing. In 2017, she pursued an MA in Traditional Irish Song at the Irish World Academy in Limerick, where she refined her vocal techniques and explored how to merge Celtic music with modern sounds. This academic experience was pivotal in shaping her distinctive musical style. Her live performances, featuring original songs, Celtic instrumental pieces, and percussive step dancing, offer a dynamic experience, with her powerful voice at the forefront. Emily's music has taken her across Canada, the USA, UK, and Europe, performing solo and with artists like Leahy, Natalie MacMaster, and Bill Whelan.
