MARIO MILANOVIĆ

Mario Milanović is a senior expert in international cooperation, project development, and cultural and creative industries, with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors across the Western Balkans. He currently serves as Advisor for International Cooperation and Projects for the City of Banja Luka and is the focal point for Banja Luka’s designation as a UNESCO City of Music. Previously, he served as Director of the City Development Agency of Banja Luka (CIDEA) and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Centre at the University of Banja Luka. He also chairs the Committee for Cultural and Creative Industries at the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka. Mario has been recognized for his contributions to regional business and economic development. His work focuses on strengthening cultural and creative industries, including the establishment of the Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries “MMVI Sklonište” and leading initiatives that successfully positioned Banja Luka within UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. His goal is to integrate culture, creativity, and innovation into sustainable urban development.
