FRANCISCO R. CARRASCO
Francisco is the Creative Director and CEO of Luma Creations, the leading Latin American arts and culture organisation in the north of England, and Artistic Director of LA FERIA, International Festival of Latin American Culture. His career spans diverse projects, including artistic director of the One World Festival, Brouhaha International’s Merseyside International Street Arts Festival, and the Chester Carnival of Giants. He holds a Master’s degree in Music Industries Studies and a Master Coach Diploma from the International Coaching Academy. He taught Developing Professional Practice and Music Industry Studies at the University of Chester for five years and created Creative Futures, a bespoke training programme supporting creative freelancers and emerging cultural businesses. A composer, performer, writer, poet, and leader, Francisco has spoken at universities, museums, conferences, and symposiums across the UK and internationally. He has worked with the British Council and chairs Liverpool UNESCO Music Cities Working Group.
